Miles Ranch is a 50 acre boarding facility for horses that are retired or laid-up. It is owned and operated by Steve and Tasha Miles.

The Miles have both had a lifetime love for horses. They actually met at a horse ranch in the Bay Area where they both had horses boarded. They had both always wanted to own and operate their own horse ranch.

In October of 2000 they purchased 50 acres of some of the most beautiful property in California and have turned it into a haven for horses.

The Miles have a very strong commitment to excellence that stems from their exposure to so many horse-boarding facilities that were not managed properly, were unsafe, unkempt, and did not have the needs of the horses as their primary concern.

We wanted to create worry free boarding for the retired horse. We want our customers to have confidence that we are giving their horses the same loving care that they would'

Because safety is a top priority, wooden fencing is used in all open areas of the permanent pastures. Tense coated safety cable is used only in wooded or dense areas where the horses do not wander.

Horse Guard electric tape is used to enclose irrigated 'turn-out' pastures to increase our grazing space.

Feed is top of the line. Pasture horses are fed alfalfa and oat hay.

Water troughs are scrubbed and changed weekly.

Additional care such as grooming, vet care, supplements, medications and exercise are all available to be arranged for on an individual basis.
